Music video production

Raw rhythmic pacing
tailored for the screen

Music videos create space for bold ideas, atmospheric filmmaking and visual experimentation. Cinematic footage, custom colour, motion design and rhythm-led editing are shaped around the character of the track — creating films that feel distinctive, energetic and true to the artist.

The origin of motion

Where the journey began

Motion Videos began with a music video. Created for Oldham rapper D-Tox and his album Rehab, Make You Cry combined green-screen performance with layered motion graphics and constantly evolving visual styles. It became a testing ground for filmmaking, After Effects and ideas that could move with the music rather than simply accompany it. The project attracted coverage from the Manchester Evening News, opened the door to further work within the music industry and revealed the creative approach that still shapes Motion Videos today.

The Shift

Where sound, filmmaking
and motion became one

Music video production became the proving ground for a more connected way of working. Filming, editing, animation and design stopped feeling like separate stages and began influencing one another from the start. Each project sharpened the same instincts: how pacing holds attention, how composition guides the eye and how sound can drive movement. That foundation still underpins every Motion Videos project. Motion is not added at the end — it helps shape the story from the beginning.

Built through experience

A career built through
rhythm and repetition

What followed was a sustained period of music video production, building creative instinct through collaboration, repetition and real-world delivery. Projects ranged from raw performance films to stylised, motion-led productions. Each one strengthened the same essential skill: understanding how sound and image work together to hold attention and create impact. Over time, those decisions became instinctive — not only how to make something look good, but how to make it land. This is where the work stopped being experimental and started becoming reliable.

The evolution

Music videos shaped us —
Motion Videos now brings more back to music videos

The creative approach developed through music video production continued to evolve through brand films, motion design, animation and visual effects. That broader experience now feeds back into VIBE — bringing stronger production judgement, more advanced techniques and a deeper understanding of how visual stories connect with an audience. This is not a return to where the journey started. It is music video production informed by everything Motion Videos has become since.

VIBE today

Distinctive music videos
built around the artist

Motion Videos develops music videos from the first creative idea through to final delivery. Projects can range from focused performance films and resourceful visual concepts to productions combining cinematic filming, motion design, animation and visual effects. Every treatment begins with the track, the artist and the audience — finding a visual direction that feels authentic, achievable and unmistakably its own.

Trusted by artists & creative teams

Music videos built on trust
and proven through delivery

Yet another extremely tight deadline for Nice & Polite, but we knew we could depend on Scott to help us deliver a visually demanding and psychedelic lyrics music video animation for NEIKED in time for the release of their smash hit ‘Sexual’. He never fails to deliver on time.

Us3 'Never Go Back' (2013)

‘Never Go Back’ was the third video I made with Scott, and I think it was the best one. With limited resources, he pulled together a quirky representation of the track. It was a mad day filming — but his masterful editing made total sense of the whole thing.
