Graphic design is the process of visual communication or problem-solving through the use of type, space, image and colour.

Graphics are visual elements that communicate information or ideas. Some common types of graphics are logos, typography, icons, charts, graphs, infographics, and illustrations. There are three types of graphics, vector graphics, bitmap graphics, and, you guessed it, motion graphics.
